Environmental Commissioner of Ontario releases Annual Greenhouse Gas Progress Report 2008/2009

The Environmental Commissioner, Gord Miller, will submit to the Legislative Assembly a review of the progress of activities in Ontario to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  The Commissioner’s report includes a review of the “Climate Change Action Plan Annual Report 2008-09” that was tabled by the Minister of the Environment in the Legislative Assembly on December 2nd, 2009.  (This report can be downloaded here: http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/publications/7289e.pdf)  This is pursuant to the requirements of section 58.2 of the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993.
